Production Stages

The main steps in refining engine oil and converting it into base oil are summarized as follows:
Primary collection and separation: Removal of large impurities such as metal particles.
Water and volatile matter removal: Evaporation of water and residual fuels.
Vacuum distillation: Separation of lighter components from the base oil.
Chemical refining: Removal of impurities with acid or bentonite.
Hydrotreating: Improvement of quality with hydrogen and catalyst.
Final filtration: Removal of remaining fine particles.
Quality control and packaging: Testing and preparation for reuse.
This process converts used engine oil into quality base oil.
